UNESCO

The Organization of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) was born on November 16, 1945. The most important thing for this United Nations agency is not to build classrooms in devastated countries or to publish scientific breakthroughs. The goal of a far more broad and ambitious: to build peace in the minds of men through education, culture, natural and social sciences and communication.

CONSERVATION INTERNATIONAL

Founded in 1987, Conservation International (CI) is an innovative leader in the global economy of biodiversity. Scientists, economists, communicators, educators and other professionals working with hundreds of partners to identify and overcome threats to biodiversity. It employs over 800 people around the world: most are based in countries where biodiversity is most threatened, and are citizens of the country in which they work

WWF

To stop the degradation of the natural atmosphere, of the planet and build a future where men lived in harmony with nature:
- conserving the world's biological diversity,
- ensuring that the use of renewable natural resources is supported
- promoting the reduction of pollution and excessive consumption.

WHC UNESCO

It aims to ensure that the World Heritage Sites list reflects well the cultural and natural diversity of outstanding universal values

IUCN

IUCN´s mission is to influence, encourage and assist societies throughout the world to conserve the integrity and diversity of nature and to ensure that any use of natural resources is equitable and ecologically sustainable.

ORGANISATION MARITIME INTERNATIONALE

.The IMO is the only specialized agency of the United Nations based in the UK. Currently comprises 166 Member States and two Associate Members.

WILD AID

WildAid's mission is to end with the illegal wildlife trade within our lifetimes.
It´s a nonprofit organization headquartered in San Francisco with representation in China, India, Galapagos, London and New York.

NOAA

NOAA is a federal agency focused on the oceans and atmosphere conditions

FONDATION MARVIVA

MarViva promotes the protection and the establishment of marine protected areas in oceanic and coastal areas of Latin America and the Caribbean, provides support for the implementation of legislation protecting these areas,  and encourage the creation of new reservations with the overall aim of promoting effective change toward a more sustainable use of coastal and marine resources.

INCOFISH

INCOFISH is dedicated to specifically targeted strategic research suitable behavior contribute to the goals set by the World Summit for Sustainable Development in Johannesburg, such as restoring healthy fish stocks and ecosystems by 2015.

 

The Mohamed Bin Zayed Species Conservation Fund is a significant philanthropic endowment established to do the following: * Provide targeted grants to individual species conservation initiatives * Recognize leaders in the field of species conservation; and * Elevate the importance of species in the broader conservation debate.

Mohamed Bin Zayed is also a donor of the Malpelo Foundation.
